Why an in-suite IV at Palmilla actually makes sense
One&Only Palmilla sits on its own quiet peninsula along the Tourist Corridor — 8 km of beachfront with the kind of privacy and pace that makes leaving the resort for a 90-minute medical errand feel wrong. The mobile IV model exists for exactly this. Our team comes to your suite, casita, or villa with the full medical kit, runs the physician intake at your sofa, places the IV cannula, infuses for 30–60 minutes, and leaves no trace beyond the small bandage on your arm. The cost is the same whether you come in or we come to you.
What we treat at One&Only Palmilla guests’ suites
The common visits we run on the peninsula are the same ones any luxury resort generates: arrival-day fatigue and dehydration after long flights, the hangover after a multi-course wine dinner at Suviche or Seared, post-spa boost, pre-wedding morning prep for the parties getting married on the resort’s grounds, mid-trip recovery for couples doing back-to-back activities, and the occasional acute illness — food poisoning, stomach bug, severe migraine — that needs more than the in-room ibuprofen the housekeeping cart carries.
How dispatch works
Book via WhatsApp or phone. A team-member will confirm the address, the suite/villa number, and the entry process — the Palmilla security gate is straightforward for medical providers and we coordinate with the resort’s concierge if you’d like, or arrive discreetly without involving the front desk if you prefer. Dispatch from our Cabo San Lucas base is typically 60–90 minutes to your door. Off-peak (early morning, weekday afternoon) closer to 60; Saturday morning closer to 90.
The medical side, always present
Every IV at Cabo Quick Care is reviewed by a Mexican-licensed physician before it starts. That means a real intake, real vital signs, real medication-history screening, and a real decision about whether the drip you booked is the right drip for your body that day. We can add prescription medications — Zofran for nausea, Toradol for pain, famotidine for stomach acid, antibiotics when indicated — which a wellness operator legally cannot. See our deeper guide on doctor-supervised IV in Cabo and our IV safety checklist.

Other Palmilla-adjacent care we coordinate
If the situation isn’t pure IV — say a 24-hour fever, a child with a stomach bug, a tooth that needs imaging — we coordinate the wider 24/7 house-call doctor, same-day labs, pharmacy delivery to your suite, and the hospital escalation pathway via our partner private hospital. One call covers the spectrum.
Frequently asked questions
How long from the call to the IV starting in my suite?
Typical 60–90 minutes from booking. Off-peak faster.
Will the resort tell anyone we requested medical care?
Discretion is standard. We can arrive without involving the front desk, or coordinate through the concierge if you prefer.

Yes — same dispatch covers 2–6 patients at one address.

No. Cabo Quick Care is an independent COFEPRIS-licensed medical clinic. We are not affiliated with One&Only, Kerzner International, or the named hotel; we provide care to guests who request it.
What if I need more than an IV?
The doctor at intake can extend to a full medical visit, prescribe medications, or coordinate hospital transfer when indicated.
